This list of 180 vocabulary words and corresponding tests are designed to be covered over 1 school year. I made these materials for my 9th grade English class, but they could be used for any high school level class. Download includes the following:
 
-an Excel file containing 180 words, each word's definition, and its part of speech. Each word has also been assigned to a quarter in the school year. Each test corresponds to a quarter and draws on words from that quarter's portion of the total list.
 
-4 tests and answer keys. Each test consists of 40 questions in total. 30 questions are multiple choice, while 10 questions require students to write original sentences with a given word. The sentences section is on its own page on each test, and so can be removed if an easier / shorter test is desired.
